It can be regarded as formal writing for an academic institution or scholarly journal. This writing style is typically started in high school and goes on throughout your academic career. Some forms of this type of writing include term papers, essays, dissertations, research papers, books, and articles for professional journals. Academic writing usually starts in high school and progresses throughout one’s academic career. There are certain things that should be avoided and certain factors that need to be included in appropriate tone in academic writing. Therefore, considering the dos and don’ts of academic writing is highly important.  

Do’s and Don’ts of Academic Writing
