Level refers to the difficulty of a problem or a task which has a solution. The ability to solve the problem and the level at which they come up with a solution determines their intelligence level.
Range includes the number of tasks which may have different difficulty levels but can be solved. A person who possesses a particular level of intelligence can solve any task at that particular level.
