There are three major differences between growth and development. These include: 1. Growth are referred to the physical changes occurred in the child including height, weight, mass, size and measurable physical structural changes. Whereas, development is referred to the overall changes in physical, social, intellectual, moral, sexual, lingual and psychological growth of a child.   2. Growth is measurable and perceivable however development cannot be measured and perceived by the senses. 3. Growth happens till a limited period of time whereas development is a lifelong process.Â
